Privacy notice

TrainBot India is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Indian Railways, IRCTC, or any rail operator or ticketing organisation.

What is stored, and why

This service processes messages only to answer the rail enquiry that you send. Your WhatsApp number is stored so the service can recognise you when you return. Ticket images and voice notes are processed temporarily and are not retained by this service. Passenger names are removed before responses are cached or logged.

Your conversation is kept so the service remembers you. The messages you send and the answers you receive are stored against your number, so that when you come back it already knows which train you asked about and you do not have to start again. This is kept until you erase it — see below. Message text is sent to the AI provider that works out what you asked and writes the reply; your phone number and any PNR are never sent there.

What is shared with Meta

When you first message, a one-way hashed form of that number is sent to Meta so the service can tell which adverts brought real people. Hashing is not anonymisation: Meta can match the hash to an existing profile. Your number itself, your messages, and what you asked about are never sent to Meta.

How long anything is kept

Deletion runs automatically every hour rather than on request.

The website

The website uses Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to measure visits and clicks on ads. They work on the website only and cannot see anything inside your WhatsApp conversation.

Erasing your data

Send DELETE to the WhatsApp number to erase everything held here, including your stored number and user record. It takes effect immediately and needs no approval from us.

Contact

For a privacy or grievance request, write to contact@trainbotindia.com or message +91 99771 61800 on WhatsApp. The service is operated from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
